I have always had a love for creating art and a fascination with nature.  Painting allows me to slow down and keenly observe, which has deepened my connection to both my creativity and the natural world.  Painting is a beautiful, rhythmic language that speaks to everyone without the need for translation.  It’s simplicity unifies and sparks the imagination for both artist and viewer.  Here lives harmony.

Born in Halifax, NS, Canada I have lived and painted across seven provinces, the South of France, Northern Virginia and now much to my delight, call Sarasota home.

My work has appeared in a number of shows in Sarasota, Virginia and Canada. 

Recent training includes a four year study at the Southern Atelier in Sarasota Under the guidance of Charlie Miano, Sue Foster and Elizabeth Jenness-Burge. Workshops with Master Artist Don Demers, Mary Erickson, Scott Christenson and Jove Wang.
